Which Chicago Bears were winners in Week 18 vs. Packers?

There was little to be happy about from the way the Chicago Bears closed out their season against the Green Bay Packers. It was a game that showed the worst of the team that had been playing so well, but a few players continue to contribute even when the rest of the team does not.

Chicago Bears Week 18 Winner No. 2: Cairo Santos

Cairo Santos should really be on the winners list every week because he has probably been the most consistent player on this team this season. Sure, he is not at a premier skill position, but in terms of doing the job and executing each time they are called upon, Santos is that guy. The Chicago Bears definitely had him on their winners list, because he earned himself a nice four-year contract extension a couple of weeks ago.

Santos scored the only points for the Bears against the Packers. He went 3/3 in field goals and hit a long of 50 yards. That moved him to 35/38 on the year for field goal attempts with only two missed extra points on the season. He has been one of the top kickers in the league this year and deserves credit for being as good as he is.

While the Bears' offense struggled to score in this game, Santos at least was able to put points on the board. Lambeau Field is not an easy place to kick in, especially when it is that cold out. At least Santos did not leave any points on the board in what was such a pathetic offensive display.
