There are probably going to be a lot of bitter Chicago Bears fans for awhile as they still try to get used to the idea of the team moving away from Soldier Field and into their new stadium in the near future.
Before the Bears took the field at Solider Field against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 1, the team announced that they were finalizing plans with the new stadium in Arlington Heights. The new fixed-roof stadium will replace Soldier Field, which has been the Bears' home since 1970.
The hope for the Bears to secure a new stadium will open up opportunities for hosting other sporting events, including the Super Bowl, global soccer events, and the Final Four. It will also help with the harsh winters of Illinois (most Bears fans don't mind that part, though).
They first purchased the land in Arlington Heights back in 2023. The hope is to have it all done so that they can put in a bid for the 2031 Super Bowl.
While there have been renderings of what the stadium is expected to look like, there are new updated ones that should give fans a better idea of what they are getting.
New Bears stadium renderings show how spectacular it will be
NFL reporter Mike Garafolo shared new updated renderings of the stadium. There are three images he shared on his social media post.

Fans got to see more of what the field will look like on game day with two massive screens at one end zone, featuring the name of the stadium in the middle. The screens are surrounded by glass windows that allow for natural sunlight to enter, bringing a unique aesthetic to the stadium. The hope is that these windows won't have the kind of negative impact that they have at the Dallas Cowboys' AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
The second image shows what the area directly outside the stadium will look like, featuring massive glass windows. There will be some night trees planted there, and plenty of space for fans to walk around the large area.
One final image is an overview of the entire area and what could be included there. There is ample space available for development near the stadium, suitable for businesses or residential properties.

Bears fans may not like the idea of this stadium being built in the next few years, but there's no denying that it will be a beautiful stadium once it is completed.
