Thomas Brown is one of the biggest reasons why the Bears can upset the 49ers

The Chicago Bears are in the middle of a six-game losing streak that resulted in Matt Eberflus being fired as the team's head coach.

However, despite the six-game losing streak, there is a very real chance that the Bears can do something on Sunday that they have never done under Eberflus—win a Sunday road game. The Bears travel to play the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, and there is a chance they will have an upset victory.

Three reasons why that may just happen.

The 49ers have serious injury questions

The 49ers are not the same team they once were. On their defense alone, they have Javon Hargrave, Kevin Givens,  Dre Greenlaw, Ambry Thomas, and Talanoa Hufanga on the IR. They also may be without Nick Bosa and Deommodore Lenoir, as they both missed last Sunday's game.

That does not add to the offense that certainly will be without Brandon Aiyuk and Christian McCaffrey. They also may be without Trent Williams, who is dealing with a personal matter. The team is built on star power and a lot of the stars are out. The 49ers are a sitting duck.

The Chicago Bears are trending up

It is weird to say that a team that lost six straight games is trending in the right direction, but the Bears certainly are. Caleb Williams has been at his best in the past three weeks, and they have chances to beat all three division teams who happen to be three of the top contenders in the NFC.

The Bears do not have nearly as many injuries and they may even get Jaquan Brisker back.

The Chicago Bears are going to be all-in for Thomas Brown

Thomas Brown does not even have to be good as a head coach, the fact that he is not Eberflus should bring out the best of the Bears on Sunday. Do not be surprised if they come out hot, they do not blow it like they typically did with Eberflus, and the 49ers realize that they are a lesser team between the two.
