The Chicago Bears' offense has been (deservedly) getting dunked on for several weeks now but they look reenergized against hated rival Green Bay. While it took the Bears a bit to get going, at the end of the second quarter, Roschon Johnson was able to punch the ball into the end zone to give Chicago a 10-7 lead before halftime.

Newly appointed offensive coordinator Thomas Brown was beyond fired up after his group took the lead over the 6-3 and heavily favored Packers. Brown was caught in the booth saying "LET"S F***ING GO" after Johnson got into the end zone and that's a sentiment that all Bears fans can relate to.
The drive ended with a touchdown, which was a relief considering how long the Bears had held the ball for. They executed a 13-play, 76-yard drive that chewed up nearly six minutes of clock time and didn't give the Packers time to answer before the half. Had the Bears not gotten six points there, it'd have been a huge disappointment to hold onto the ball that long and not get the most points out of the drive.
Before this touchdown, the Bears had not scored a touchdown since Week 8 when they lost on a Hail Mary to the Washington Commanders. Two full games came and went without the Bears offense getting into the end zone so it makes sense to see Brown so fired up for his squad. The offense had been so bad that it cost Shane Waldron his job and rumblings of Caleb Williams needing to be benched started making their way around the news outlets.
Bears OC Thomas Brown lost his mind after Roschon Johnson TD run
Not only did the Bears finally snap their touchdown drought but they took the lead over a hated division rival with a winning record (though the Packers regained the lead midway through the third quarter). The Bears have not beaten the Packers since December 2018 and getting a win over a team that has dominated them would go a long way toward building this team's confidence moving forward.
The Bears do have a brutal schedule down the stretch but fans want to see the offense improve and hopefully Brown's enthusiasm in the booth motivates the rest of the team and they can continue to put up points and improve.
