What has already been a magical season for the Chicago Bears continues to get even better with the latest announcement.
The Bears have three players who landed on the AP's All-Pro team for the 2025 season. Offensive lineman Joe Thuney and safety Kevin Byard made the first-team All-Pro list, while fellow offensive lineman Darnell Wright made the second-team All-Pro list.
Congrats to our three AP All-Pro selections! 👏

It is business as usual for Thuney as he gets named to the first-team for the third straight season and the fifth overall time on the All-Pro team. This is also the third time for Byard to be named to the first-team All-Pro team. For Wright, this will be more special as it is the first time to be named to the All-Pro team after being snubbed of a Pro Bowl selection last month.
Three Bears represent them on the All-Pro team
Thuney continues to be the best guard in the NFL and Chicago's most important offseason move. This season, he has called for just two penalties while in pass protection has been stellar. He allowed just one quarterback hit and zero sacks on the season.
Wright's performance has been pretty similar, as he has been dominant in the run-blocking game for Chicago. Pro Football Focus graded him at 85.6 as a run blocker, the sixth highest among offensive tackles out of 89 in the NFL.
Byard had a career year for the Bears as he led the NFL in interceptions with seven. He added 93 tackles, eight pass deflections, and four tackles for loss on the season from the safety positions.
This should all be credited to Bears general manager Ryan Poles for bringing in all these guys over the last few years and helping them improve. Whether through the draft, free agency, or via trade, the Bears were able to get some top talent to help improve a roster that needed it.

It's great news as the Bears prepare for their Wild Card matchup against the Green Bay Packers.
