Don Banks’ Chicago Bears Draft Preview (Video)

The NFL draft is just about a week away.  This has been the loooongest offseason so far.  I really hope the NFL doesn’t make it a habit of this late draft.

Thanks to the fine folks at Sports Illustrated, we can share Don Banks’ one minute draft preview for the Chicago Bears.

Banks seems to be on the same page with everyone else – the Bears need defensive help.  He suggests safety Calvin Pryor, cornerback Justin Gilbert or defensive tackle Aaron Donald would make great picks.  In fact, if Aaron Donald were there, they’d “run the card up” makes a lot of sense.

Will Phil Emery go along with the consensus and get one of these top defenders?  Emery has been known to go off the script.  His first two first round picks have been somewhat surprising, so you never know what to expect.
