Reader’s Mock Draft: Carolina Panthers are on the Clock

As you can see, The Panthers were proactive in signing Cotchery and Avant, two solid receivers who played in Pennsylvania last season. Signing safety Roman Harper adds good depth to a great defense. But in all honesty, if the panthers want to make a run like last year, especially in a division with the high-powered Saints, newly healthy and explosive Falcons, and improving Buccaneers, they need to greatly improve their offense.

Wide Receiver- The obvious position. Cam Newton needs someone to whom he can consistently through. A speed guy who can stretch the field would benefit the Panthers greatly.

Offensive Tackle- Cam Newton spent a lot of time running for his life last season. While it’s fun to watch him do that because he is so good at escaping, it would be more beneficial if he could have a clean pocket from which to throw.  Check out the picks so far and vote in our poll:
