As the Chicago Bears prepare to battle their division rivals the Minnesota Vikings there are few key injuries to watch for. The defense struggled to stop the Lions in week six and they missed the leadership of safety Antrel Rolle.Unfortunately, it looks like they will still be without his help in the secondary with his current status for Sunday’s game being questionable due to a lingering ankle injury.Linebacker Pernell McPhee has made a huge difference in the Bears’ pass rush but an undisclosed injury caused him to miss practice this week, and the team has listed him as probable. McPhee’s presence will be needed to put pressure on Teddy Bridgewater and stopping the run game of Adrian Peterson.

The offensive line has taken a major hit with tackle Jermon Bushrod being limited in practice all week, his status for week eight is considered questionable. Also, the team may be without their starting center, Hroniss Grasu did not practice on Thursday and was limited on Friday due to a neck injury; his status is considered questionable. Hopefully, both Bushrod and Grasu will be able to play on Sunday otherwise the team will continue to struggle. The ability to protect Jay Cutler and open up lanes for Matt Forte are both key factors if the team wants a chance to win. A shifting offensive line is the last thing that the Bears need midway through the season with an team that is struggling at times to move the ball and score.
