Jermon Bushrod held his own at left tackle, but didn’t necessarily grade out all that well in PFF’s rankings with a -7.2 overall.  But the PFF grades don’t tell the whole story.  Bushrod only gave up 4 sacks in the pass-happy Trestman offense.  If there was a weak link on the Bears offensive line, it was rookie right tackle Jordan Mills.  He graded out near the bottom of PFF’s tackle rankings, but despite that, was still a big upgrade over J’Marcus Webb.  Mills broke his foot during warmups of the season finale, so he spent a chunk of his offseason nursing his foot back to health.  Mills will get the nod to start, but had better look over his shoulder as the Bears have a pile of eager tackles looking to steal his job.

James “Hot Tub” Brown and Eben Britton highlight the list of reserve offensive linemen who will be fighting for a roster spot.  Charles Leno Jr., Joe Long, Michael Ola and Cody Booth are all young tackles that will be fighting for a roster spot.
