There is not much good I can say about my beloved Bears thus far. As bad as it’s been the last few weeks it could get worse  when the Bears face Tom Brady and the Patriots. The Pats had their struggles early this season but luckily for them they have a future Hall of Fame quarterback and coach to pull them through. The Bears can’t say the same. To this point it’s hard to trust that the Bears can do enough to beat the Pats in Gillette Stadium. The only glimmer of hope is that the Bears have played better on the road than at home. Let’s hope for a football miracle, because falling to 3-5 means the playoffs may not be possible. Despite all the odds against them I’m going to take a leap of faith and say the Bears win a close one on the road. Fingers crossed Bears Nation.

The Bears luckily get the Patriots without two of their best defenders, Mayo and Jones. Look for the Bears to try and establish the run early to set up the Play Action game. The Bears defense will struggle with the tight ends, Gronkowski and Wright, giving up big plays in the passing game.

Bears 20 – Patriots 28

Have to go with the Pats this week…

Patriots 28 – Bears 24
