Matchup: University of Wisconsin At University of Maryland – Saturday, November 7th – 2:30 P.M. CT

The Wisconsin native is doing his state’s charter school well. This Badger’s NFL draft stock has taken a rise in the past few weeks.

"“That’s right. I’m a Wisconsin born and bred player. I’m very fortunate, very blessed to be making these plays for our defense and that is something that I always dreamed upon. You gotta give it to the Lord on this one.”"

Standing at 6’4 and tipping the scale at 241 pounds, Biegel consistently is making his way into the oppositions backfield. Biegel is quite old school when it comes to his play. Lacking ideal arm length as a pass rusher, and not possessing elite agility, Biegel, utilizes his strength, and his non-stop motor on the field to disrupt the passer. Possessing a rather raw skill set, it will take a bit of development to feel the pure impact that Biegel can make, but with his high ceiling it may be worth taking a mid round flier on the Wisconsin native. With his crazy haircuts, and his motor mouth, some may be put off by the way that Biegel comes off – but this young man remembers his roots, and he is proud of them. Stating “That’s right. I’m a Wisconsin born and bred player. I’m very fortunate, very blessed to be making these plays for our defense and that is something that I always dreamed upon. You gotta give it to the Lord on this one.” One of the areas of Biegel’s game that typically goes unannounced is his play against the run. Consistently getting an arm on a ball carrier to trip him up, or simply pushing a blocker into the running lane – Biegel is disruptive. I would compare Biegel to that of a raw Björn Werner of the Indianapolis Colts. Don’t forget to check out Biegel, and the rest of the Wisconsin football (7-2) team this Saturday as they take on Big Ten foe, Maryland (2-6).
