106th overall-Kevin Hogan-QB-Stanford

At this point in the process this might be wishful thinking Kevin Hogan falls this far as he seems to be a late riser. As you can see from the attached scouting report Greg Gabriel thinks he’s a late 2nd early 3rd. I had him going here from the start even though some were even saying 7th rd., so I’m going to ride this out. Hogan is probably the most ready quarterback in the entire draft, and probably can come in and run an offense from go. Bears get their primary backup and possible heir apparent to Jay Cutler.
Alternate picks:
A.) Rashard Robinson– This pick has the potential to be one of the steals of the draft. number 1 pick ability. Not very thick, but plays bigger than his frame. Will get physical and play the run. Has number one cornerback ability. Has some character concerns off field as he was thrown off LSU, and has not played since 2014. Boom or bust pick.
B.) Jeremy Cash-SS/FS-Duke- Big tough physical safety with ball skills who can play either safety spot. Ohio State transfer who’s a great athlete and can play the run or pass. Hybrid safety/Linebacker for the Blue Devils.
C.) Xavien Howard-CB-Baylor- Big long press cornerback with good ball skills and athleticism. Another fit as a Fangio type of cornerback.
