2016 NFL Mock Draft 5.0: Round 1
26.) Seattle Seahawks – DL A’Shawn Robinson, Alabama
Most mocks have them going with an offensive tackle here, which they really need, but when do the Seahawks ever do what’s expected? Youth on the d-line is a need as well and Robinson is the best player left on the board.
27.) Green Bay Packers – NT Andrew Billings, Baylor
With the loss of NT B.J. Raji the Packers need some size and power inside.
28.) Kansas City Chiefs – CB William Jackson III, Houston
The loss of CB Sean Smith hurts less with the addition of another tall corner to pair with Marcus Peters and set the Chiefs up at corner for the next few years.
29.) Arizona Cardinals – QB Paxton Lynch, Memphis
The Cards get an eventual replacement for 36-year-old QB Carson Palmer.
30.) Carolina Panthers – DE Emmanuel Ogbah, Oklahoma St
Cornerback and offensive line are more obvious needs, but their defense is built around their pass rush.
31.) Denver Broncos – DL Chris Jones, Mississippi St
There is a lot of talk about a QB here, but Cook and Hackenburg both have a ton of question marks. Jones would help replace the interior pass rush they lost when Malik Jackson left town.
