1. William “Refrigerator” Perry- DT, 1985-1993

Ah, the Fridge. No man in sports needed to keep his shirt on at all times more than William Perry. Perry stood 6’2 and checked in around 335 lbs (depending on the season), but that was at a time where basically nobody else in the league was over 300 lbs.

Perry’s size earned him cult hero status in Chicago and he was showered with endorsements. Ditka turned him into a national celebrity when he put Perry’s slender frame in the backfield in front of Walter Payton. Perry’s belly jiggled as he skied through the air with massive high fives and bounded about when he danced in the end zone.

Perry was the first of his kind in the NFL which earns him top status on this list. Luckily when you check google images, you can’t find Perry with his shirt off, except for this gem. Click if you dare, and if you do, you’ll understand why the body issue and the refrigerator would never mix.
