3. Packers
Don Barclay, Corey Linsley, Lane Taylor, Jahri Evans, Kofi Amichia
The Packers have one of the best tackle situations in the league, but their interior has major flaws. Corey Linsley is the best starter of the bunch, but he is just a slightly above average center. Then, there are big questions at each guard position. T.J. Lang and Josh Sitton now start for their division rivals and they have not necessarily built up the depth to replace the two yet.
Lane Taylor started last season but was likely the weak link on the unit. Evans and Barclay will likely compete for snaps, or Evans could take over for Taylor. Evans is an old veteran, but his 2016 showed his age. Barclay is a swing lineman and a great backup, but if he has to start a full season, there are certainly questions on the line. Jason Spriggs may be able to start at guard, but he is the team’s only depth option at tackle. It will be interesting to see how the Packers sort out their depth chart at guard this season, and what kind of plan they have for the future.
