Jeremy Langford

Langford may end up playing in this game more than some may think. He will definitely get some snaps, and they will be much more valuable than you think they would be. Langford should not be looked as a roster lock.

Langford was injured and missed the first two preseason games. In the third game, he ran the ball five times for 18 yards and caught two passes for 19 yards. The Bears are going to want to see more than that.

Jordan Howard should not play in this game. Ka’Deem Carey is hurt, and they do not need to see much more from Tarik Cohen either. How much Joshua Rounds to they have to see? This should be Langford’s chance to shake off some rust, get in a groove and show that he can still get yards.

Next: 53-man roster projection

Given that Langford is not necessarily a lock for the roster his performance could be the most important of the group. It will be interesting to see what his workload looks like in this game.
