How Many Times Will Mitchell Trubisky Throw the Ball?

There was a point during the season when rookie quarterback Mitchell Trubisky was barely throwing the ball each game. However, in each of the last three games, Trubisky has had 30-plus pass attempts. During that span, the first-round draft pick has completed 54.6 percent of his passes for 640 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception. Seeing that there is a good chance of Howard having a difficult game ahead of him against the top-ranked run defense, there could be a possibility that we will see Trubisky throw the rock 30-plus times once again. Noticing that Philadelphia’s pass defense is ranked 19th in the league may not seem too intimidating, but the Eagles are second in the NFL with 14 interceptions. So if Trubisky’s number of pass attempts are high this week, he’ll have to be extra careful to not throw any picks against this ball-hawking defense.
