James Daniels

Last week, we were looking to see where James Daniels was lining up. Despite the team saying that he was still a guard, it had been a few weeks since Daniels actually played guard. To add more fuel to the fire is the idea that Earl Watford came in to replace Eric Kush as the backup left guard, not James Daniels.

For the second straight week, James Daniels took every snap at center. He played the entire second half in this game and once again looked like a player of starting caliber. This is the dress rehearsal. This is the game to make a move if a move is going to be made. Are the Chicago Bears going to do it?

The hope is that we see James Daniels starting at center with Cody Whitehair next to him at guard. This gives them the entire first half to see Daniels and White Hair in their natural positions against solid competition. Time will tell if this is what happens.
