5. Three safeties for Week One?

While I own up on mistakes, I will admit I had no idea how you handle Deiondre’ Hall. First, I wanted to get rid of him. That is a no-brainer considering the past month he has had. Then, DeAndre Houston-Carson broke his arm.

Houston-Carson is going to miss some time. If I had to have guessed, I would have assumed he was more likely to move to IR than Adam Shaheen. Especially, considering the tone of Nagy around each.

Next. Adam Shaheen to miss first half of 2018. dark

Still, Houston-Carson is going to be inactive for Week One. Are the Chicago Bears going to move into the regular season with three safeties? When do they expect to get Houston-Carson back?

Getting back a seventh-round pick for Deiondre’ Hall is a deal you take 100 times out of 100. However, it does leave the team short of depth at safety. How they handle this moving forward will be interesting.
