1. Dejon Allen

Going back to the post-draft, I have been a fan of Dejon Allen. Allen is a versatile player, projecting to play all three positions in the NFL. However, at this point in his career, he is a jack of all trades, master of none. He is versatile but does not have a role.

The team has worked him at tackle and guard in the preseason. He has looked decent in each role, solid considering he was a UDFA from Hawaii. Bradley Sowell currently holds the role of swing guard and tackle. Sowell has a bit of an injury as of right now, and well, he is Bradley Sowell.

There is not a lot standing between Dejon Allen and the 53-man roster. The team is going to squeeze in time and film study for Dejon Allen with Harry Hiestand. They are going to hold up with Bradley Sowell but have a better plan to upgrade from Sowell soon with Dejon Allen. His clear path to the roster makes him the most intriguing of this group.
