The Chicago Bears posted their first injury report of the season. It was not long on names

Heading into the start of the regular season there were plenty of questions surrounding some of the bigger names on the team. Allen Robinson, Khalil Mack and Roquan Smith did not take a single snap in the preseason.

While Mack and Smith are healthy, they are both ending holdouts of differing variety. Mack is a trusted veteran while Smith is a rookie. Smith came back to practice but tweaked a hamstring early into the process and did not practice for three weeks to close camp.

Robinson was coming back from an ACL injury, but has had good reports all summer. Even Leonard Floyd had his hand issue.

Today, we found out that all the big names were suited up and participated fully.

Daniel Brown injured his shoulder playing in Week Four of the preseason. We also knew about Houston-Carson, and that he would likely miss the first couple of games to start the season.

With that in mind, there is nothing major to fear with this injury report. The Chicago Bears kept Ben Braunecker as a fourth tight knowing that they needed his depth. He may end up seeing a handful of offensive snaps on Sunday.

Next. Do you still hate Ryan Pace?. dark

If Brown does not practice tomorrow you would likely rule him out. Houston-Carson is going to be out, and the team is going to roll with three safeties to enter the season.

However, if that is as bad as the injury report gets, you have to like the Bears chances.
