CINCINNATI, OH – DECEMBER 10: Adam Shaheen

2. Adam Shaheen

The first three have made impacts already. This player has not taken a single snap yet. However, he can make the offense generate in ways that it cannot even imagine yet. Yes, I know this is a top ten offense right now.

Adam Shaheen could make the wheels turn even faster. He is a big chess piece and one that Matt Nagy had valued all summer. The ability to put him and Trey Burton on the field together gives off a very heavy run look. However, we know what Burton can do in the passing game, and Shaheen is a former basketball player who saw red zone targets last year.

Trey Burton is also a willing blocker, but not a strong blocker. The ability to keep Shaheen in-line as an extra blocker, along with being able to motion Burton out into the slot as a pass catcher can give defenses a nightmare to defend.

Adam Shaheen adds another wrinkle into what is already an offense that can strike in a variety of ways.

Adam Shaheen has started practicing and could get back on the field in the next week or so. An addition at tight end for a late season run would be huge.
