3. Tarik Cohen, RB

Bears second-year running back Tarik Cohen is one of the most fascinating players to watch in football. His versatility is apparent as he totaled over 200 yards (counting special teams) in Sunday’s matchup.

Cohen’s biggest impact was his receiving ability on Sunday. In fact, Cohen may have been the best wide receiver on Sunday, hauling in twelve receptions for 156 yards. That’s two more catches and two more yards than Antonio Brown put up on Sunday night. Tarik would also add 30 yards on the ground on eight attempts.

To only emphasize his contributions more, Cohen’s biggest play came from playing quarterback. With only three seconds left in regulation, Matt Nagy once again pulled a trick from up his sleeve and recreated a “Philly Special” playcall. Cohen lined up on the left side of the formation only to catch a misdirection flip from Trey Burton (seasoned veteran by now) and fire a ball into the corner of the end zone to rookie receiver, Anthony Miller.

I’m not sure anyone expected Tarik Cohen to have the performance he had on Sunday, but the young running back is quickly asserting himself as one of the most dynamic players in the NFL.
