Chicago Bears: Five Late Round Draft Running Backs

Bryce Love
If Bryce Love continued on his trajectory from his 2017 campaign, he would have been on the list of backs unlikely to make it to 87. However, a down year followed by a torn ACL has Bryce Love as a somewhat forgotten back heading into the 2019 NFL draft.
The ACL is a question, but is exemplified by the fact that he went from 8.1 yards per carry as a junior to 4.5 as a senior. He lacked the lateral agility to consistently break tackles, and when he did not have a runway was unable to take off with his deep speed.

Still, Bryce Love got his high rushing totals due to being a home run hitter. That will always be a part of his game and with a strong offensive line, and in a rotation, he could find a great fit. One of the reasons the Chicago Bears moved on from Jordan Howard was his lack of big play ability. The Bears could add quite the opposite if Bryce Love falls due to his lingering questions.
