3. John Baron, K, San Diego State

While we did not highlight a new long snapper, it is worth noting that the team added a new kicker into the mix. John Baron is interesting player who has made clutch kicks and long kicks in his college career.

Of course, like the rest of the UDFAs in this group, his job will not be handed to him. Baron will have to compete with an unusually high number of kickers as the team found three other players to compete for the job.

The kicker spot in Chicago has become a serious issue, as Matt Nagy stated he will put the four through a variety of tests this offseason to dwindle the list down. This team is not trying to lose a game because of a kicker ever again.

Will John Baron be the guy? He has as good of a chance as Redford Jones or Chris Blewitt, so we will see.
