2. Emanuel Hall has real speed

The highlight UDFA signing of 2019 was Hall, who has second-round upside, but has some questionable character that had him drop out of the draft. Matt Nagy acknowledged that it was not on the field ability that held him from getting drafted, but noted that the team brought Hall in for a visit, so they knew what they were getting with Hall.

One of the biggest questions with Hall is injury related, and wanting to play through an injury. Teams want a tough player and rumors have swirled that Hall is not quite that. However, one thing that Nagy could not deny is that Hall had serious speed.

Nagy noted that some players can look fast, but you cannot see it on the field. With Emanuel Hall you do not only see it, you feel his speed on the football field.

As the offseason goes, and practice intensifies, we will learn what the Bears have in Hall. However, he knows his talent is more than UDFA quality and is motivated to win a job in a crowded receiver group. Emanuel Hall is going to continue to be a name that is worth following, all the way through final cuts.
