The Chicago Bears have had a long offseason. Since being literally and metaphorically kicked from the playoff’s against the Eagles the Bears have had nothing but time to start their chase for the Super Bowl in 2020.

With a little over a month until the first game of the season against the Packers let’s take a look at the top 5 things Chicago Bears fans should be excited about for next year.

5. The New Uniforms

The Bears are celebrating their 100th year. To celebrate they unveiled a classic uniform they will wear next season. The new uniform to me symbolize the customization features fans have when they customize the uniforms on Madden video games.

With the 100th year comes a lot of fun celebrations, the Bears had their 100th year celebration weekend in June, an event that featured many great Bears past and present. It will be great watching the Bears win with those uniforms in action.

4 Chuck Pagano Joins The Defense

The best thing about the Bears last year was their high intensity fast hitting defense. The Bears led the NFL with the number one ranked defense, with some pretty incredible stats.

This season the Bears will be without their former defensive coordinator Vic Fangio, Fangio left the Bears to become the head coach of the Denver Broncos, in his place the Bears now have Chuck Pagano.

Pagano will run a similar system as Fangio and will still have much of the same defensive unit at his arsenal. Pagano has Khalil Mack, and Akiem Hicks to help stop the ball all game long, along with newcomer Ha Ha Clinton-Dix.

Although the Bears have a new defensive coordinator expect the same energy and excitement this year from the team.

3 Aaron Rodgers Coming To Town

The Bears do not like Aaron Rodgers. Rodgers has taunted the team in the past and has tried to get into their heads. The Bears are not having it anymore, the season will kick off on September 5th at Soldier Field against the Packers, and expect a good game.

In the last moment of Rodgers Speech after winning “Moment of the year” Rodgers said there is nothing like beating the Bears. We will see who is going to be enjoying themselves after the first game of the season…

2 Mitch Trubisky Scoring Touchdowns

Mitch Trubisky is projected to have a career year. Trubisky is obsessed with improving himself and his game day in and day out. He is entering the second season under head coach Matt Nagy’s system, the time is now for the Bears quarterback to be the star.

Opposing teams will have had a year to watch Trubisky develop and play under Nagy’s system, there will be no surprising opponents next season. Mitch Trubisky is going to have to out work opponents.

1 Chasing The Super Bowl

The Chicago Bears are entering their 100th season, and have not won a Super Bowl since the ’85 Bears. Chicago Bears fans young and old alike want a Super Bowl. Arguably this is the best Bears team fans have seen in a long time, this team was one field goal away from a clear path to a Super Bowl.

The Bears started their chase for the Super Bowl after losing to the Eagles in the playoffs last season. The number one thing to be excited about for Bears fans now is the chase for the Super Bowl, it is the Bears year.
