2. Will we see more David Montgomery?

This one feels obvious. Yes, we expected Mike Davis to be mixed in more than some may have thought. However, we did not see Davis leading the way with Montgomery essentially being a backup.

Davis played 40 snaps while Montgomery played just 27. However, neither saw the ball much with Davis seeing five rushes for 19 yards and Montgomery picking up 18 yards on six attempts.

Matt Nagy mentioned that the Bears were running RPOs, and sometimes it called for the P option, or at least that is what Trubisky was calling.

However, that does not excuse just 27 snaps out of Montgomery. Obviously, the usage of Cohen is reliant on Miller which we talked about.

However, it is also clear that Cohen has a role independent of the other two. The other two are splitting the real running back role.

When it comes to that role, expect Montgomery to slowly take over. The question now is how slow?
