Allen Robinson vs Isaac Yiadom

Many Chicago Bears fans will want to see Bryce Callahan against his old team. However, Ryan Pace may have already been proven right as Callahan missed Week 1 with a foot injury, and is very likely to miss Week 2 as well.

Callahan was obviously going to play the slot, so to fill in the team moved safety Kareem Jackson into a cornerback. They also saw Isaac Yiadom have to step up on the outside.

Yiadom was in coverage 27 times for his first game. He was targeted 10 times and gave up nine receptions for 123 yards. It was a rude welcoming to the NFL for the second year NFL cornerback.

As Yiadom looks to rebound it may get tougher on Sunday when Allen Robinson comes to town. Robinson was excellent on Thursday, arguably the best Bear on the field. The Broncos could elect to travel Chris Harris with Robinson, but Robinson has a distinct size advantage. Yiadom has height, and length but is not as nuanced as Robinson.

Whoever it is, Robinson should have the advantage. If Harris follows Robinson, tertiary players need to step up and attack Yiadom.
