Chicago Bears: 3 keys to beat the Oakland Raiders
By Adam Childs
3. Unleash Mack
It’s no secret that Khalil Mack is ready for this game. He recently said he thought he was going to be a Raider for life before being traded to the Bears before the start of last season. Jon Gruden came in, seemed to not even talk to him and proceeded to unload him to Chicago who was waiting with open arms and signed him to a new contract.
Mack was great for the Raiders and has been great for the Bears. He is looking to show the Raiders that it was a mistake to let him go and the Bears need to let him do that.
Mack has shown that he has been able to play great with all eyes on him and this will be another example of that. Mack even seems to thrive when the pressure is on and the Bears need to enjoy all that will come along with it.
Mack has been a force this year terrorizing quarterbacks and stopping the run. Chicago’s best plan is to let him continue to do that all year long, but Sunday will mean just a little more for him.
The Bears need to just sit back let him get his revenge and reap the benefits. Carr has not seen a defense like this and it will show. Let Mack lead the defense and head home from London with a win.
The Bears will try and get through this game without Trubisky and hope that the bye week will allow him to get back into the game. While Tribusky hasn’t been great this year he is still better than Daniel. Luckily the Beras defense should be able to dominate again and they won’t need to score much. Limit the run and turnovers and the Bears will come back home 4-1. They win a low scoring battle in London.
