3. Eddy Pineiro

Remember the summer when everyone was freaking out about who the kicker would be. Remember the reports of all of the kicker missing, and the Bears desperately trading for a kicker coming off of a season ending leg injury.

Reports were that Pineiro did not win the kicker job in camp, but rather Elliott Fry lost it. Pineiro still had two games where he had to win the job. All of the questions and waiting and it turns out the Chicago Bears really have a kicker.

Pineiro won the job to finish the preseason. From there, he won the job for the next couple of years. He made his kicks against Green Bay, and that made fans happy.

However, a game winning field goal to walk off Vic Fangio and the Denver Broncos made him a true part of this team for years to come. Pineiro has been clutch, he has made long kicks, and he has made his extra points. The kicker has not been a question at all this season and that is a huge change from not only last year, but also years prior with John Fox.
