Dropping three straight games can really make a fan lose hope. However, there are reasons for Chicago Bears fans not to fret.

The Chicago Bears three-game losing streak has made it difficult to think 2019 Bears and playoffs belong in the same sentence, however, it’s not far fetched.

Before going off on a Jim Mora rant about “playoffs,” remember it is Week 9. Yes, the Bears have hit rock bottom in the NFC North. The team is dead last at 3-4 after a one-point defeat to Los Angeles Chargers. A field goal bouncing off the goal post was the difference. A dreaded familiar sight for the Chicago Bears and their fans.

Going into the season, most Bears fans thought this team was a lock for the playoffs. Many thought they had strong Super Bowl odds. Unfortunately, a roller coaster of issues has plagued this team. What is worse, the team found a way to start the season out 3-1 over the first four games. Despite the offensive struggles, fans still thought the team not only had a legit shot of making the playoffs but would make some serious noise in an NFC playoff run.

Now that the team is 3-4 with three straight losses, should fans give up hope? Should the team just pack up and quit? What about Mitchell Trubisky and the offensive line? Should other players point fingers at them for not performing? What about Matt Nagy and his questionable decisions?

Despite these recent disappointments, there are three reasons to remain hopeful the Bears can make a playoff push.
