2. Coaching matchup

It is tough to defend the Bears offense, although against the Lions defense, this may be their best matchup to date. The same can be said about Matt Nagy as the head coach. Questions have started to shift from the struggles of Trubisky to the struggles of Nagy.

His play calling is too cute and out thinks itself. He does not let his running quarterback run. There have been serious questions about his tenure.

Still, for as poor as Nagy has been Matt Patricia has gone step for step. Patricia is 8-13-1 as a head coach. Nagy still has a winning record in two years.

Patricia was a defensive coordinator in New England, but as mentioned, his offense carries his below average defense.

Patricia has blown leads in-game to the Cardinals, Packers, Chiefs, and Raiders. No one is talking up Nagy, but against Patrica it can be discussed.

Nagy is 2-0 against Patrica. He out classed him every step of the way. Patricia has shown no growth from one year to the next. Nagy has been poor, but he may have the advantage this week.
