4. Jared Goff under pressure

There is one saving grace to the disaster season that Mitch Trubisky has put up to date. At least they did not tie him up to a long term deal. That is what the LA Rams are dealing with looking at Jared Goff.

Goff is posting his worst numbers since his rookie year, and the offensive line has a lot to do with it. Goff has dramatic splits when he is in a clean pocket versus under pressure. He does not take many sacks, but that is because he throws more incompletions and interceptions. Not a great trade-off.

Goff does not like to get hit and struggles under pressure. In four games against teams that rank top 5 in pressure rate, they average 17 points per game this year. The Bears have not got the same pressure this season as they did last year.

However, the offensive line issues in LA can help awaken Mack, Leonard Floyd, and the interior guys. If they can get in the face of Goff he will turn the ball over. Even if the defense has to score the points, that may be enough to win this game.
