1. Jake Fromm

A lot of fans are not on board yet, but the combine may be a showing out for Jake Fromm. Fromm started at Georgia for three years, playing in three SEC championships and a national championship.

He is essentially the exact opposite of Trubisky. Trubisky has the arm and the mobility. However, he makes consistent mistakes and lacks confidence, which leads to shaky mechanics and bad decisions.

Fromm is a natural. He gets it. He processes well and can manage the heck out of a game. However, he is 50/50 off-script. Many scouts question his complete arm strength.

I personally think his arm is capable in the NFL, and a good week could boost his stock into the range of the Bears second pick. However, it is fair to note that a poor showing next to big arms such as Herbert and Eason could equally plummet him into a range closer to Anthony Gordon and the others.

Next. Time to step up for Kevin Toliver. dark

Fromm is going to ace the meetings; the question with him will be if he looks the part in drills and has the right size and velocity for the NFL. A camp battle between Fromm and Trubisky would be fascinating as the contrasting styles clash. Keep your eyes on whether Fromm can make more Bears fans believe this week.
