The Chicago Bears need to extend Allen Robinson
It’s not that we expect Allen Robinson to play bad. It’s we’re wondering how much his contract issues will affect his play or if it even will. If it doesn’t, perfect no issues. If it does this is very important and needs to get done.
Shortly after publicly stating the contract wasn’t on his mind, Robinson went to social media to show his distaste with the Bears removing all pictures associated with them. He also removed the team name from his bios on both Twitter and Instagram.
This seems to be a shot at Ryan Pace for not extending him yet while all of these other receivers are getting paid like Cooper Kupp and Keenan Allen. Robinson does deserve the extension, but that is beside the point.
The last time Robinson played the porous Giants’ secondary, Robinson caught 6 passes for 131 yards and one touchdown. If Robinson comes out hot trying to earn his contract, he could go off against the Giants.
