2020 Chicago Bears: Week 2 Report Card vs. New York Giants
Chicago Bears defensive backs step up big time
The backend of Chicago’s defense contained the Giants’ wide receivers for the most part. New York’s receivers combined for 141 of Jones’ 241 passing yards. Cornerbacks Kyle Fuller and rookie Jaylon Johnson recorded five and four tackles respectively, and each had two deflected passes.
Five-year veteran safety Deon Bush intercepted a pass in the second quarter, and Eddie Jackson tied for a game-high eight tackles. Jackson also had a pick-six that was negated due to a questionable pass interference call.
