The Chicago Bears are unbeatable

I know the sentence above is completely redundant, but the thought has to have crossed everybody’s mind. Through three games, there was a point in every game where it looked like Chicago was the worse team. They’ve played 12 quarters and looked bad for nine of them.

Despite this, Matt Nagy’s squad has found a way to win. It has been far from pretty, but this team has given us more confidence in the fourth quarter while losing than most teams that are holding a lead. Whether it’s Trubisky or Foles, both of these guys seem to play their best football at the end of the game.

But taking a deeper look at that same headline above, you start to realize that this team is far from unbeatable. In fact, this team has a ton of flaws and really struggled to get going against a bad Falcons defense. Is Foles the answer? Probably not, but he gave this team a shot in the arm right when they needed it.

There are serious issues on this squad and they’ll likely suffer a loss in the coming weeks, but for now, we can enjoy the victories. Not many teams are 3-0, so enjoy it while it lasts.
