As the Chicago Bears prepare for free agency in March, they could look at some players from a rising AFC powerhouse in the Buffalo Bills.

Now that the Bills are out of the postseason after a tough loss to the back-to-back AFC champion Kansas City Chiefs, it’s time to start looking ahead like the other 29 teams are doing. The offseason is going to get into full swing here in just about a month when March rolls around.

Of course, for teams like the Bears, the offseason has been on the minds of fans for a few weeks now — for some, even longer.

If general manager Ryan Pace wants to follow in the footsteps of a young, rising team though, he could look at doing so with the Buffalo Bills. The first step is to find a true franchise quarterback the Bears can build around, just like the Bills have done with Josh Allen.

Does that quarterback answer come via the draft this year, or do they opt for free agency? How about a trade? At this point, it doesn’t matter, as long as Pace gets it right. But, finding a young gunslinger like Allen sure would be nice.

This offseason, the Bears don’t have a ton of cash to work with in free agency. They will likely have to make some cap casualty cuts to give themselves a bit of wiggle room in filling the significant holes.

Looking at some of the following players from the Bills, however, could give the Bears some value signings if they wanted to fill needs via free agency.
