4. Felipe Franks

Franks struggled mightily at Florida and was replaced by Kyle Trask. However, you cannot deny that he got better in 2020. Franks has a live arm and can spin it with velocity and deep field strength.

The issue with Franks is that the offense he ran was not asking too much of him. It got a lot easier than his time at Florida. Beyond that, His footwork and decision making still lack behind.

His arm overcomes poor mechanics often. At times, there is intrigue because of how well he can sling the football. Others, you wonder how he even made it to the Senior Bowl.

Working with NFL coaches, and in an environment where he will be able to focus on his mechanics will be huge. If he can show calm feet, a team will take a shot on him. Still. Franks is very much a project and the Chicago Bears are just looking for a sign of hope from him.
