The Chicago Bears make a deal with the defending AFC Champions

One of the first trade-back candidates that make sense for the Bears is the Kansas City Chiefs, who currently own the 31st overall pick in the draft. To make a trade with Kansas City, the Bears would send their No. 20 pick and a late sixth-rounder while receiving the No. 31 pick, a second-round pick and a late fifth-round pick.

Chiefs’ pick at No. 20: WR Rashod Bateman, Minnesota

Bears’ pick at No. 31: WR Kadarius Toney, Florida

At number 20, the Chiefs would be targeting yet another weapon for Patrick Mahomes. In this case, it’s Minnesota wide receiver Rashod Bateman, who would make that offense arguably the scariest offense in the league and probably since the “Greatest Show on Turf” featuring Kurt Warner, Marshall Faulk and company.

Bateman, Tyreek Hill, Travis Kelce and Clyde Edwards-Helaire would be a nearly impossible task for defenses to take on every week.

Meanwhile, the Bears would take a wide receiver of their own at pick 31. Chicago ends up getting Florida wideout Kadarius Toney, who would give them a strong trio of their own featuring Allen Robinson and Darnell Mooney.

In the second round, the Bears would have picked at No. 52 and No. 61 to potentially go after an offensive tackle or cornerback, or possibly even a safety.
