2021 Chicago Bears roster rank No. 28: Anthony Miller is still needed
We are now onto number 28 in our ranking of the top Chicago Bears in the 2021 season. This is a projection ahead for only the 2021 season and looks into just how valuable they will be this year. It does not matter what they did or what will happen in 2022, but just expectations for this year.
Now, are onto number 28.
No. 28 Chicago Bears WR Anthony Miller
Many fans think that Anthony Miller should not even be on the 53-man roster, and even while 28 feels high, that is a far drop from number 11 last season. In the years prior Miller has ranked 16 and 21 so this is his lowest ranking and a big fall.
To be fair to his ranking last season before training camp he was clearly the number two wide out, while Darnell Mooney was closer to where Miller was.
Miller is this high because he is still the slot WR until proven otherwise. Dazz Newsome is injured and a late-round pick while Damiere Byrd and Marquise Goodwin do not play the slot much. The Bears shopped Miller but could not find the right value because they see something in him and would rather him be on the roster. That says something and keeps him inside of number 30.
