Following Thursday’s training camp session for the Chicago Bears, veteran tight end Jimmy Graham made a comment regarding Justin Fields that got a lot of Bears fans jumping for joy.

The comment in question is that Chicago Bears’ Justin Fields reminds him a lot “of the guy up there in Seattle.”

For those who are living under a rock, the player being referred to is Russell Wilson, a quarterback that was rumored to be joining Jimmy Graham this year. However, now that the dust has settled, the masses seem to be okay so far with the outcome.

Nothing’s for sure, and there are definitely some Chicago Bears fans that are being conservative with their excitement for Justin Fields, as he’s not the starting quarterback as of now, but getting comparisons to Russell Wilson as a rookie has to count for something.

Not only is getting compared to Russell Wilson a feat in itself, but getting that praise from someone that’s played with Drew Brees, Russell Wilson, and Aaron Rodgers in their career makes it even more special– and a little more credible.
