Chicago Bears Unofficial Depth Chart: Quarterbacks

Looking at quarterbacks first, Andy Dalton is listed with the first string and Justin Fields with the second string. There are no surprises here despite there being nothing but good things coming out of training camp about Fields.

Dalton is still most likely the Week 1 starter, although head coach Matt Nagy has hinted at the possibility of Fields winning the job. The good thing about the preseason though is that we will get to see both play. We will get to see which quarterback makes the most plays in an offense neither has manned before. Will this be the opportunity Fields needs to prove he deserves to start over Dalton? Only time will tell.

Behind the two of them is Nick Foles. Will Foles be able to shred the third-stringers like he claims he can? Maybe he will show another team like the Indianapolis Colts something worth trading for before the season starts? Doubtful, but stranger things have happened.
