Linebacker

This is going to combine two positions in a way, but inside and outside linebackers are going to form a good portion of the practice squad. On the inside, Danny Trevathan, Roquan Smith, Alec Ogletree, and Christian Jones seem to have four spots locked up. On the outside, the Chicago Bears have Khalil Mack, Robert Quinn, Trevis Gipson, and Jeremiah Attachou. That is eight, although the team may keep nine or ten linebackers if needed.

Josh Woods, Joel Iyiegbuniwe, Caleb Johnson, James Vaughters, and Charles Snowden are unlikely to pass the top eight in that order. However, they all could find themselves in the role of 53rd man on the roster.

In most cases, these players will need to demonstrate on special teams. All will get their chances on Saturday.
