Trey Hendrickson will be a tough matchup for the Chicago Bears

Player No. 1: Trey Hendrickson

We all know about the problems this Bears offensive line has, especially on the outside. Trey Hendrickson was one of the best pass rushers in the league last year with the Saints, before signing a long-term deal with Cincinnati this offseason.

Hendrickson registered 13.5 sacks a season ago as part of a strong defense in New Orleans. On his new team, Hendrickson is very much the star of the show. Besides Hendrickson, the Bengals don’t have much depth at the position but given how poor the Bears are at OT it may not matter.

According to ESPN, last week the Bears gave up three sacks and another three QB hits. Protecting the QB is a must for them to be in this game. Hendrickson didn’t get himself a sack last week so I’m sure he will be itching to get one against this poor offensive line.

The Bears have shown time and time again that the offensive line can’t hold up against a good defensive front and that may be the case this Sunday as well. The team must be able to stop Hendrickson from getting the QB to have some rhythm on offense. Let’s see if the Bears’ offensive tackles are up to the task.
