It was weird to write an article asking where Khalil Mack was and why he did not significantly impact the Bears’ week one loss. Still, it had started to get far too familiar that Mack would go missing for large stretches of games.

Sean Desai decided to move Mack around a bit on Sunday and get him in more favorable matchups. The decision was vital, and Mack not only created a sack for himself, but he also helped Robert Quinn pick up a sack by knocking out the guard and opening a stunt lane for Quinn.

Mack also added two more pressures and a run stop in this game. The reality is that this should be closer to the normal than a big game for Mack. Big games could be even better. Hopefully, this is a game where he shows that he can get back to making this an everyday occurrence.
