5 underrated Cleveland Browns that Chicago Bears must account for

1. Jack Conklin

This is probably the most crucial matchup of the entire game on Sunday. We are all worried about the development of Justin Fields, but the Bears will only beat Cleveland if their defense shows up as it did against the Bengals.

That means Khalil Mack and Robert Quinn adding sacks and pressures. It was easier against the rebuilding Bengals line than it will be this week, though.

Jack Conklin was a high-end free agent last year and now has settled into an offense that highlights his skill. The play-action boot game and heavy run emphasize what he does best, and Conklin has taken a step forward with Cleveland.

On Sunday, he will get Khalil Mack for most of the game. Mack has been up and down but almost always sees double teams and chip blocks. Against Conklin, he may see less of that as the Browns trust their tackle. Whoever wins this battle will have a long say in who wins the game.
