2. Danny Trevathan – Cap Hit $5M

Nobody wants to be mad at Danny Trevathan for getting injured. However, Ryan Pace has a job and that is to see when a player is getting old and has a long list of injuries that you do not guarantee them money.

We wrote this the day they re-signed Trevathan. It was a bad decision at the time and looks even worse now that he is injured rather than just has concerns of injury.

Trevathan is expected to be back, but the worst part is that they signed Alec Ogletree, who is making less than $1M and is arguably playing better than Trevathan did in 2020.

Ifedi and Peters are the only two out five players listed so far to even step n a field in 2021.

With Trevathan, they are flushing 2.6% of their cap space down the drain. These poor decisions really add up.
