If Andy Dalton starts this game, it will be very difficult to watch. Not because Dalton is that bad of a quarterback, but because there is just no point — plus Matt Nagy is still coaching the team. At least if Justin Fields is under center, we are able to enjoy watching him grow and develop for what we all hope is a very bright future for the Bears.

As of right now, Justin Fields’ status is still an ongoing discussion. The Bears do not want to put him out there if it furthers his risk of serious injury. It will be interesting to see if the team gets back any other players this week. Besides Fields, the Bears were without Mario Edwards, Marquise Goodwin, Akiem Hicks, and Allen Robinson. Do we think any of them, or Fields, makes a difference though? I don’t.

Bears vs Packers Odds Week 14

Wow. WynnBET has the spread on this game at 12.5 and obviously, the Bears are the underdogs at +12.5. Chicago is coming off an 11-point loss to the Arizona Cardinals while the Packers are coming off their bye week. I shouldn’t sound surprised by this large of a spread, but the team did keep the first meeting at only a 10-point difference. Not to mention, divisional games typically are closer than non-divisional games. That said, I can easily see the Packers covering.

If we look at the rest of the odds by WynnBET we will see that the Bears Moneyline is set at +500. This means that a $100 bet will win $500. Those are some awesome odds if you truly believe the Bears have any chance at winning this game. The Packers Moneyline isn’t worth touching seeing the odds are set at -700 (bet $700 to win $100). I am not touching those odds even though I believe Green Bay wins.

Finally, the over/under is set at 43.5. After watching Chicago put up 22 versus the Cardinals, I honestly like the over here. The last meeting between these two would have been under with only 38 total points. Maybe it is a gut feeling, but I think Green Bay scores more than 24.

Bears vs Packers Prediction Week 14

At this point, there isn’t a good reason to focus on the analytics of this game. No matter if Andy Dalton or Justin Fields starts, the Packers are not going to lose. The question will be, how bad will the Chicago Bears lose?

Green Bay will find a way to put up 30 points and Chicago will fall short of 20. It is that simple. I will be predicting that the Packers win, but the better prediction is how this will be Matt Nagy’s final game as the Chicago Bears head coach.
